Currently two guys live here. Potential roommates of either gender are welcome to apply, but I would prefer females unless you're a very neat and tidy guy.
Stipulations are that you are responsible about being able to afford to pay your rent on time along with utils/cable/internet/phone, and you'll have to cover a refundable $300 deposit when you move in. Rent is $315 a month plus utilities which usually run between $80 and $120 depending on the month and if the heat/ac is running too often. Utilities and cable are due towards the end of the month and rent is due at the first of the month. You will be required to sign a roommate agreement, but will not be bound by the original lease. Additionally, you MUST be able to keep your own mess to your own room and be willing to help out with cleaning chores in the common areas.
House is 1700 sq ft, 1.5 bathrooms, updated kitchen, fenced backyard. Very convenient to everything due to being right next to Research Park Blvd. and I-565. Pets are not allowed, but exceptions might possibly be made if they are well behaved, well potty trained, and get along with existing occupants. I would prefer no pets, but if I were to make an exception, I'm more likely to let a 2nd cat move in than a dog. One dog and one cat already live here. Also, sorry but no smoking because I am allergic and also I don't want the animals to try to eat the cigarette butts.
One room will be available to move into no later than January 1st, but possibly as early as December 21th after the current roommate moves out. Rent will be prorated if you move in before the end of the month. If moving in after 1st of the month, entire rent will be required to hold the room for the month. The second room may possibly be available sooner depending on a couple of things.
